Here is a list of rules, regulations, guidelines, or whatever you want to call it. I like to call it the Laws of the Land, or LOTL for short. Read through the whole list please. Thanks!
.:1:.You must be an active poster. If you're not an active poster, you might want to reconsider joining. Have an activity level of at least 5/10. This is what keeps the pack alive and growing. There is no maximum limit to how much you post, but I encourage you to go enjoy the outdoors in the fresh air instead of sitting at the computer all day.
.:2:.Keep it kid-friendly. This means no swearing or posting explicit content. We would like to keep the forum open to some kids. Proboards.com says to keep it at least PG-13.
.:3:.Treat other members with respect. Do not harass, spam, impersonate, or stalk other members in any way. This is not only against our rules, but also against the law. Yes, you can joke about some things lightly as long as the other person knows you're joking and is okay with it.
.:4:.Do not God-Mod. God-modding can refer to many things, for example: being immortal (never gets hurt or killed, dodges every blow), or taking control of another person's character. Usually it is a power or point of character that unbalances the role-play. This takes away from the fun.
.:5:.If you are going on vacation, please let us know. Or somewhere where there is no internet. We want to know so that we can give you EFA (excused for absence) so we don't suspend your account for being inactive.
.:6:.When posting a RP post, refer to the "Skirt Rule". The "Skirt Rule" says to keep it long enough to cover everything but short enough to keep it interesting. I am not too picky about this rule, so I trust you can monitor yourselves. There is a minimum requirement of 6 sentences, but there is no maximum.
.:7:.Your main RPC (Role-Play Character) has to be a wolf. You get a max of three RP characters starting off- at least one wolf and your pick of either wolf or deer for the other two. The deer is optional and only to be used in the Fire Bringer RP board. Also, your avatar must be set as a picture of your RPC of either a realistic deer or wolf –each character must be on a separate screen name- drawings are not allowed as there are too many complications with copyrights.
*****Please Note: If any member of staff finds you are unable to keep up with the amount of characters, you may be asked to remove some.
.:8:. Please post this message: "Larka's spirit lives on.” at the top of your application. This is to prove that you have read the LOTL. The Secret Message can and will change from time to time.
.:9:.Your RPC cannot kill others' RPC, unless given the ok by the victim OR a member of staff. However, your RPC can die of old age. In that case you can get a new RPC, but it starts off as a newborn. When you die, your old RPC can be used only in the Red Meadow, and only other dead wolves or wolves with The Sight may RP with you.
.:10:.If you want special powers such as The Sight, just PM Amaya and ask. This gift will be given out very sparingly to avoid a mass quantity of wolves infected with the site. Special events will be held and members could be awarded a wolf with The Sight, or even a rare ‘Helper” character.
.:11:.Keep it realistic and close to the book. After all, the site is named The Sight, so if you don't like the book you're gonna have to find a different RPG site. If you want new things that aren't in the book, feel free to ask about it and I just might add it. This also means no flying wolves, unrealistic-colored fur, wolves that can play video games, etc.
.:12:.Let us know if you're leaving. Don't just suddenly stop posting and drift away into the forums. If you don't want to be a part of the site, just tell us. We won't be offended. And we can have a proper farewell, too.
.:13:.You CAN have mates and pups. But just like real wolves, you need permission from your pack's alphas first. Or if you are a Kerl (lone wolf), ask Amaya. Also, you can't have a mate or pups until you are at least a Sikla (Omega). It’s not very realistic for a pup to have a mate and pups.
.:14:.No double-posting. Or bumping for that matter. That can be classified as SPAM.
.:15:.Please do not advertise. Unless it is in the advertisement board, this is not allowed.
.:16:.Have Fun! This is our site's main goal and most important rule.
There will be consequences for those who choose not to adhere these rules. You get two warnings. The third time you disobey the LOTL, you will be banned for a certain amount of time or, if its bad enough, forever.

- Use your wolf RPC as your name so we all know who you are.
- Try not to argue
- No advertising!
- Follow the regular LOTL when using the chatbox.
